About Us

Welcome to CHOP – the Cambridge Homeless Outreach Programme! We are a group of students at Cambridge and Anglia Ruskin universities with one fundamental goal – to break down the divide between the student and homeless communities in Cambridge and help students to engage more actively with the homeless population.

We recognise that many students want to help the homeless community in Cambridge but are not always sure how. Through a combination of raising awareness, fundraising for local charities, organising outreach events and advertising volunteering opportunities, we hope to help harness this goodwill in order to help students make a genuine impact.
